This documentary gives an important message about companies, companies need to have a holistic vision in order to take fundamental decisions in order to change the future and two of the biggest companies that are a big example of this is Microsoft and IBM so the documental tells interesting facts about this 2 big companies

In the documentary, the key growth of any company is thinking of the future. Technology is advancing too fast so if you have a company dedicated to technology with a good idea, you should look for improve the idea and you need to be not stuck in that idea because  this is what happened to IBM, they got stuck in many things and the cost of that was expensive because now Microsoft has a better position and a lot of brilliant in the actual market, so Microsoft is a big example of having a holistic vision like "Windows in all computers and not only in IBM computers" gave to that company a big future and a great position in market, nevertheless, IBM nowadays began to hear more ideas and to recruit young talent in order to improve and that gave to that company "other" chance in order to still playing the big game of the IT market.

Bill Gates is a great example of how relationships are the most important thing in this world. Just like Paul Allen helped him get an operating system from Tim Paterson, the QDOS. So this is a big example that professional relationships are important even if we are only thinking about developing software.

Language as the Ultimate Weapon

Why is the  Nineteen Eighty-Four  novel by George Orwell relevant to a student taking the Programming Language course? In this last entry of the coruse I will give my opinion about the Nineteen Eighty-four novel and the article titled “Language as the ‘Ultimate Weapon’ in Nineteen Eighty-Four".   “Different languages impose different conceptions of reality” I think that this phrase is very powerful and it is true, quotidian languages like English or Spanish or Japanese have their own culture behind them and when you understand them you start to have a different perception of life and thinking.  The same happens with the developers, we need to learn more and more programming languages and each programming language has their own rules and sometimes a very different syntaxis that give us different ways of thinking when we are solving problems, this is very important because we do not think the same when we develop in Python, C, C#, Clojure or Java. ...
